When using our Smart Timetable OCR Scan feature, TickMark requests access to your device's camera.

1. Introduction

Welcome to TickMark. We are fully committed to protecting your personal data and respect your absolute right to privacy. TickMark (referred to as "we", "us", or "our") is designed from the ground up as an offline-first scheduler companion app. We operate under a "Zero Data Collection" philosophy.

By using TickMark, you fully agree to the terms laid out in this Privacy Policy.

2. Information Collection and Use

Unlike standard modern apps, TickMark does not capture, store, or transmit any personally identifiable information (PII) to external environments. All your schedules, subjects, and records are processed locally.

Camera Usage: Access to the camera is requested purely on-demand for OCR Timetable Scanning. The frames are processed locally inside the device memory using Google ML Kit and discarded immediately afterwards. Absolutely no images are recorded, stored, or sent to the cloud.

Local Storage Access: File import/export systems operate strictly inside your designated device folders for backup and restoration purposes under your manual authorization.

3. Data Sharing and Disclosure

Since we do not collect any personal data, we have absolutely nothing to share, sell, distribute, or rent to third-party organizations, governments, or advertisers.

No advertising integrations, analytics SDKs, or external trackers are linked within our Flutter application, making your usage profile completely private.

4. Data Security

All data is maintained locally inside your device’s sandbox using optimized Hive database boxes. The physical security of your data relies entirely on your device’s security configurations. Deleting the application immediately purges all local databases from the device.

5. Children's Privacy

Because TickMark does not collect any data whatsoever, our application is completely safe for children and students of all ages. We do not knowingly compile or store any demographic information from anyone.
